written submission
= brief = written pleadings = memoire (франц.) = Rechtschrift (нем.) - письменное заявление участвующей в деле стороны. Представляет собой изложение фактических обстоятельств дела и правовых аргументов, процессуальных и материально-правовых, на которые ссылается сторона в подтверждение правильности своей позиции. Письменные заявления представляются на языке арбитражного разбирательства с таким расчетом, чтобы каждый арбитр и каждый участник процесса получил бы по одному экземпляру, еще один предназначен для институционального арбитражного органа, если таковой принимает участие в рассмотрении спора. К таким заявлениям прилагаются документы, которые обычно нумеруются в качестве приложений (см. exhibits).
