witness statement
- письменное заявление свидетеля, содержащее его показания. Часто используется подача письменных заявлений свидетелей вместо прямого опроса (direct examination). Иногда такие заявления составляются в форме ответов на вопросы, но чаще всего представляют собой основанный на хронологическом принципе рассказ о событиях. См. Франсуа-Понсе С.
